Hi Sandra,

A good opener here, re-introducing Eric & Herbie and setting up a mystery.

The only thing I noted was a tendency to couple adverbs on a few occasions but other than that spot on.

Thank you, Gareth for coming and reading this story, I'm so pleased you're with me again. I'll take a look at those adverbs and make some changes. This is what I appreciate from you, you do point those things out with is vital. Big hugs, my friend. :)) Sandra xx

This short chapter has a lot in it. I think a dinosaur fossil is and interesting find. I think the horse came from a different time.
Herbie would be a good addition to a police force. He could
look into the person's mind that the police were questioning and
find out what happened.
Keep writing
Joan

Herbie would be good in a lot of places, I must try and invent one! lol. Or I could just go to another planet and bring a real one home. Hmm, that's a better idea!
Thank you so much, Joan, for reading this part, and giving me your thoughts on it. That's so kind of you. Big hugs, my friend. :)) Sandra xx

You're welcome. Maybe he could look into the minds of amnesiacs and see what they don't remember and find ways to get them to remember.

Another intoxicating adventure series to capture everyone's imagination!! And I'm especially happy that this time I'm on board early on! This is wonderful already, and I'm eager to catch up and then read week by week. Nicely done, Sandra, with that magical touch and unbridled imagination that is your stock in trade. xo

Hello Sandra,
Looks like we're off on another exciting adventure!
Excellent introduction and description of Herbie for new readers.
For a second, I though that toenail might lead to the real dinosaur world,
but instead it looks like we'll meet some Arapaho Indians.
"Yes. I wonder where his owner is,['] he said, looking along the beach and seeing no one there. "[I wonder if] he has escaped from his stable. Or, perhaps his rider has fallen off and is lying injured somewhere! [Since you earlier use 'I wonder' try 'Maybe he's..']
(Maybe Herbie could scan Trump's brain to see if there is anything in there :)
Perfect ending...
Robert

Your sharp eyes can come again, Robert! I hadn't noticed that single speech tag, or the fact that I'd written 'I wonder' twice in close proximity. I've changed it now, thank you! And a big thank you for the 6 stars along with the fabulous review. I love the thought of Herbie scanning Trump's brain, lol. There's a few politicians here I'd like scanned! Thank's again, my friend. :)) Sandra xx

-A great image and very
good chapter, Sandra.
-Thanks for sharing the notes.
-Good introduction about Herbie.
-You set the scene up well with
him and Eric on the beach looking
for fossils, but Herbie is bored.
-The humor is good when Herbie mentions
telling his parents if those are swear words!
-You also set the scene well when the horse
appears, and Herbie does a scan of the arrow.
-Eric is very gentle with the horse, and it
seems to relax as he calms it down.
-They figure out that a rider must have been
hurt, and then we learn of an upcoming adventure!
-Well done, my friend.

Hello Sandra,
This story is highly imaginative and Eric is creatively incorporated into the story with his alien drone who has the ability to scan and talk as well. I am sure you have tapped into his childish imagination to write this so well. Look forward to Eric's next adventure.

Yippee! I was looking forward to Eric's next adventure, and I certainly wasn't disappointed. What a vivid imagination you have, fuelled, no doubt, by your conversations with your wonderful grandson. I'm so pleased the headmaster has ordered some copies of your first Eric book - what a compliment!

Writer, first, thank you for such well-developed notes for the reader! Being new to the site and as a writer, I am so grateful for these little pearls of wisdom and I learn so much of the depth of character that you as a grandparent have with such a special lad. Thank you...you sare a gift in more ways than you realize... continue successes.

What a great idea to write a book for and about your grandson. I'm not surprised he's delighted.
I just looked at your Amazon.com profile page, but couldn't find this one.
Thanks for sharing.

The one on Amazon is called, Eric and the Aliens. There is two the same, but the coloured one costs a lot more than the black and white version. It's terrible what they charge to put a few small coloured pictures in. This will be the second story and I've got another planned which will be called, Eric and the Pharaohs. He wants me to have a 'mummy' chasing him! lol. Eric is dyslexic and when he asked me if I would write a story about him, I was only too happy to do it. Anything that will encourage him to work on his letters. He is starting a specialist school in September, and the head-teacher has ordered some copies of the first book. :)) Thank you so much for reading this part, I'm working on the next part now. Big hugs, my friend. :)) Sandra xxx

This looks to be another fun adventure for Eric. I do wonder if Herbie isn't helping an adventure along as he seems to be so bored. Well done. Looking forward to the next chapter. Missed seeing you on here, glad you are back. I am just finishing up another book. This one about a stalker. I have come a long way from Super Pig. =}

Hi Rox, thank you for your lovely comments on Eric's story, you are so sweet. Your second book? How come I missed that? Is the first one on Amazon? And will this one be? If they are, let me know and I'll get them. At least I'll be able to read straight through! You really have come a long way. I was the same, I'd only written poems for children, and now I have my trilogy and this will be the 2nd of Eric's. Well done, my friend!!:)) xxx

    Hi, Sorry, I didn't explain myself very well. I meant I had posted another book on here I'm just finishing up. I don't know that I will publish again unless a publisher begs me too. =} But it is great you're publishing another book about Eric and that his class all got one. How exciting for him. =}
