This poem, An Aussie Dawn, finds our brave explorer rising with the dawn to join the rooster and hounds as the outback awaits a walk-about. Fun days.

Hi Christine. These birds are super looking. What are they? Do you know? I've not seen any that look like this. I enjoyed reading your poem for day #4 and look forward to subsequent writes. Above all, have a great time and stay safe. Marilyn

Very nice Chrissy, you start out with your early morning thoughts, what you see and hear and then tell us about your plans for the day's road trip. Well done and interesting. Have fun but be safe. Nancy:)

I am so glad your muse is buzzing with delight Christine. You were very detailed in capturing the morning with the sounds, the sights and the senses. Once again safe travels. Oh find an opal for sure and if there is one left over I will claim it lol. Oh, I do so hope you are not the driver and trying to write lol. Enjoy

I especially like your second stanza, both the twitter tweet and air on your arms. I might have liked this better as two poems, one about the birds, one about the continuing trip. But probably not. I enjoyed taking the road trip with you.
