Hi there,

Nice piece you've crafted here echoing the old adage ' The definition of madness is doing the same thing over and over again expecting a different result'.

So much wasted energy.
Excellent haiku

This Haiku gives us a message for good living, we should learn that a raging torrent ever follows the same path every day and going nowhere fast so we should avoid rage in living; well said, well done. Liked and enjoyed the read. Write-Inspire --DR ALCREATOR

Very good! Perfect picture choice. I could practically hear the rushing water and see the waves. Expertly crafted. Excellent work! Good luck in the contest!

Thanks so much for the wonderful comments and the delightful rating. Unfortunately, I forgot to post this as a contest entry, and had to come up with something else, not of the same standard, I fear. Most grateful for the good wishes :) Craig

Another haiku? I actually like this one better, and I loved your black hole entry. This one shows your wit. I knew that I would enjoy it when I read "possibly about a river." Now that is an interest grabber if I ever read one. Then I smiled at your last line. It is so understated and unexpected that it's funny.
I'm so glad that you are back.

Thanks so much, Debbie :) A little secret... this one was meant to be my contest entry, but I stupidly forgot to post it that way... then I had to rush to come up with another one for the contest. Oh, well! I like this one better, too :) Cheers, Craig

Great haiku in form with the kigo of the swelling river water and the satori ending of "going nowhere fast." But the river is smoothing those rocks in the process.
I was hoping you'd write about the eclipse that only the southern hemisphere could observe yesterday!

I must have missed that, Helen, otherwise I probably would have. Still, I just posted one on a similar topic. Thanks for the thoughtful and kind review :)

An interesting concept friend, a raging river going no where fast... a bit of an oxymoron for a raging river is normally fast flowing. I'm gonna have to ponder this one awhile longer. Very cool!

Yet, the river itself goes nowhere (it stays in the same spot). Thanks for the great review! Craig

Ha, that is true i guess, in its own way that scene does not change... nice : ))

Craig, This is a very well written 5-7-5 haiku poem you have penned about the raging torrent and how it follows the same path, but it doesn't go anywhere fast. Great words and lovely imagery from the art work. I enjoyed reading and reviewing this. Blessings, Teri
