This meets the contest requirements nicely with an exact word count of 80. You tell a complete story which progresses in a logical manner. I saw no obvious evidence of SPAG making for a smooth and enjoyable read. Your theme is both timely and relevant as with the fourth in a couple of days many folks will be remembering loved ones that died in service to their country. All that said, this lacked passion and emotion for me - came across rather clinical and objective. Good luck in the voting and thank you very much for sharing it.

How sad. The family must know the second they see someone in uniform at the door. Seems to me these wars accomplish nothing except to waste young lives. It's time to find a better way. Good luck in the contest.
