I'm so jealous! I want a day of pampering like that every month. It's $30 to get my nails done. I just worked the holiday today, it's triple time, so I might splurge and go get my nails done. We'll see. I'm so glad you were able to give yourself the break it needed and get refreshed.

You have had so many medical issues in the last while that it is nice to read that you had some pampering. You deserve it. I love getting a pedicure, but I'm not a fan of massage. I'll pass on the massage.

(oh-so-short) I would hyphenate this...

take the "s" off of "arrives" -- the two months named makes it necessary --plural

I think you should make it a monthly celebration. My daughter is always offering to take me to get my nails done and a pedicure, and sometimes I do, but I haven't had a massage for a long time. I think i will give it some thought.

It is the best way to spend the day. I do plan on doing it at least once a month, especially at those prices.

Sounds like a restful day. The last thing I would ever do is get a pedicure. The next-to-last thing I'd do is get a manicure. I'd use that $12 to buy sunscreen if I lived in Mexico, and then I would never leave my air-conditioned room.

I have a lifetime supply of sunscreen and already spend far to much time inside my apartment.
