This is beautifully expressed, Ricky. You have constructed many insightful turns of phrase throughout but, this one struck me as the most powerful:
"But the scars will always run deep...
Deep to the very, last, metal" - it is a strong reminder that Christ carried His wounds into paradise with Him so it is with us as each scar becomes a badge of grace. Nicely done and thank you very much for sharing it.

I think this is a powerful piece.

Here are a couple of points you might like to consider:

Yes, Endless ever seeking and calling out my name! -- I like this. It has great impact. However, I'd reword it to give it even greater impact: Yes, endlessly seeking and calling out my name! :)

Time tis the Great Healer and takes all prisoners and cures all wounds -- I also like this. In particular the takes all prisoners. People don't often think of time acting in this way :)
