Hi Earl, I really enjoyed reading about this National Park. I think National Parks are one of the best things that this country ever did. I've taken my son to Shenandoah and it was wonderful!!! We went spelunking! They have the most awesome caves there... not like the dinky things we get here in New England. That much farther south the ground is made of much different rock so they get these gigantic caverns! It's just amazing!

This sounds like a place I would love. I like lakes and rivers more than seeing the ocean. There's something soothing about their waters. You should write for a travel magazine. You'd have everyone flocking to the places to showed them.

Thank you, Earl, for this great tourist information complete with historical information, too. I'm thankful for the WPA projects as we have several out here in the Pacific NW. Locally, we have a well built bridge.
