Of course most countries have been set free from someone or other. If one would look at a map of the world a thousand years ago, one would see vastly changed borders, of course ours was wrested from the original inhabitants, as was yours. But a great array of 5/7/5s in this contest, skilfully scribed and a very worthy entry in this contest. Well done, blessings, Roy

The music part, though, is universal. It is the component that ties us all together. Different songs, but the feelings they evoke is the same. Thank you for your nice review, Roy.

Yeah, yeah, yeah--North America was for the British; it's for white folks now. We like immigrants only if they're from Europe.
Yeah, yeah, yeah--The original Americans continue to lose land and die from alcoholism today, no regard for their humanity.
I love America. But I only love what it is becoming! And I'll be grateful when we all have fought for our freedom and won. The past doesn't include our victories, it includes our losses.
I was going to give you four stars, but it wouldn't be fair to you cause this is a great poem, even if the content bothers me.
G-d will bless America when it is free for all.
