Enjoyed this list of place names. I was giggling throughout. I have heard of the Cut and Shoot town in Texas. I have lived in TX, CA, OR, WA and HI. But it seems you've been in all fifty states!

Thank you so much Helen, okay I have been to Hawaii and California but it was not in an RV and I havent been to Oregon or Washington states so not all fifty states yet, lol.

Well, it is good to travel and see the signs on the road and the names of the cities, Alie, but it would be nicer and much better if you give me the history behind one... say, Ball's Falls, Ontario or Climax, Saskatchewan? :)

Great list! You really can't beat Punkeydoodles... priceless. Makes me want a tee shirt from there. I wonder how they came up with that odd name. It would be fun to have a "Rename the town" contest for all the boring Springfields and other such names. :)

Hi Alie. Yep, good places to visit, but I don't think I'd want to live in a place with some of these weird names. Men have, no doubt, named all of them. A woman would have selected more flowery, attractive names--don't you think? Marilyn

Amazing the names of the cities. Just thinking about the population and restaurant's at the locations. I do know the history of Money, Mississippi from traumatic events of 1955. I like when writing educates the world.
