Nice alliteration and interesting diction. You reminded me of a story I had to write for work today about the 100th anniversary of the American Legion and I'm sure our veterans would appreciate your poem. It's something that we take for granted like so many other things. Nicely done.

Thanks, Nicole. I appreciated your kind review. A couple of years ago the veterans here read one of my poems, and they did enjoy it. I don?t take good reviews for granted!
