This poem is clever and well-constructed, but I have counted 19 syllables, not 15. Also, I'm a little confused by your listing of contest rules at the bottom of the page. On the contest page, there's no listing of the requirement "Joe, you are the heartbeat of my life."

I loved this mainly because I often describe my relationship with my husband and myself as "two halves of a whole." Without my lifelong love, life wouldn't add up. I enjoyed your poem and entry for the contest.
