Woe to the Mom who would ever have to lift the various duties in her "job description!" Your little vignette shows a glimpse of the myriad of ways we Moms are the glue of the family... AND...with so many responsibilities it is little wonder something will be forgotten. We do scold ourselves, true--but we ought to be getting gold medals!--Karenina

This is a most precious story, I really enjoyed the reading. As a child there were never any visits for the tooth fairy at my house.

Hi Patricia :) I don't remember the tooth fairy visiting either, although I guess she must have! Thank you for your lovely feedback. Best wishes, Debra :)

This is listed as Fiction, but my Little Voice says it is NOT!! You have perfectly captured a mom's world with this super charming write. I couldn't love it more. (And that artwork, Debra!! It is PERFECT with this story!!) Wonderfully done, my friend. xo

Shame, shame, shame. A friend of mine out a dollar under his five-year-old son's pillow when he lost a tooth. The following evening, my friend and his wife went to dinner. They had three kids and the oldest babysat the other two. When they returned, the five-year-old had used a screwdriver to pry loose the rest of his teeth. They rushed the boy to the dentist. He was able to stabilize the teeth.

Aw, poor Brianna. Now, Brianna has to explain the reason the tooth fairy forgot. I really love this story, and it is so relatable. Our days are filled with so many chores, sometimes we forget one or two. I get it.

I really love your title. As I read the title, I curious about the story contents.

I like your story very much.
A woman's work is never done... but aren't fairies capable of waving magic wands?? It's so hard to keep track of everyone else's details for exhausted, overworked wondermums.

Out of interest: why did the dog need walking twice in one afternoon?

    Hey LisaMay :)
Thanks for your feedback. It appears my wand is broken and my mind and body are both tired!
Molly needs 4 walks a day - she's still quite young and has lots of energy. Also, she refuses to poo in the garden, so her walks are as much of a toilet break as a need for exercise!
    Best wishes, Debra :)

Nice one! Take her to crap on someone else's lawn, hahaha!
Suggestion: pull all your teeth out, get that tooth fairy to leave lots of money, then run away and spend it on a holiday.

Oh dear, you didn't, did you? I do hope you didn't berate yourself too much. You are definitely a very good fairy, even akin to an angel I'd say. Did you mean to write 'scalded' or 'scolded' in your last sentence?
Cheers
Judy

Thanks for spotting the silly mistake at the end! I've changed it :)
