A very well-written seventy-five word flash fiction about the fear of getting old. We never have to fear to become old, we may not make it and then we waste our time we had to live. If we get older we realize we are the lucky ones who made it and lI've each day.

Hello Raul. It is an interesting story describing how a five-year-old boy is concerned about growing old. The last line of your story sums it up well. He has decided that growing older is something he will do when it's time. I am 72 today and I don't think about growing old. There is only one way to avoid it and that's unpleasant. That's a very well-conceived and well-written story. Robert

I guess that even a dog needn't be scared of decrepitude at the age of five. Not that he would be, of course - far too sensible for that. It's only us poor humans who fear the future.

5 years old is still the age of innocence and exploration. Age should not be relevant in any way shape or form. except for birthdays, cake and presents : )) Age is just a number is what we say when we are old, ha ha.

I am assuming that this is about the dog, Raul1. So it makes a cute story. Generally, I would say you might find satisfaction and depth in your story when you lose some of your extra words (to have this feeling of fear - to be afraid). You can replace some of the words to describe for us, a bit about his parents - are they loud or quiet, do they touch Hill? What does Hill look like - big, small, black white etc). And big question - in what ways does he lives his life. 2-3 descriptions for each person or action can help the reader know what you are imagining or relating.Thanks for your story.
