Our Lord is always with us and with that said I know that our Father is here as well. I believe that Jesus lives in our hearts, for faith in His love is seen by the words that praise Him. Sally this is a very good way to show your love and a very good entry for the Faith Poetry Contest.

Yes, our Lord is always with us no matter what. This is the one thing that is sure and never changes. I appreciate the excellent review and kind, encouraging words, dear poet.

I loved the analogies of the sails filling with wind and the lighthouse for darkened eyes. Very well written throughout. I found no errors or edits needed.
A beautiful and encouraging poem.
All the best,
Jan

This is absolutely true. With faith we can move mountains. The Lord makes it possible.

This is an excellent entry for the contest, Sally, and I hope it will do well.

Great poem that expresses your faith well regarding the truth that Jesus will never leave us or forsake us. if we feel that way, it is due to believing the deception of the enemy. Thank God that he is always faithful and enables us to grow in our ability to receive his faithfulness.

Oh, Sally! :) This is such a melodic offering for the contest and stands as both encouragement and personal testimony to everyone! ;) ;) Love the way your message is not only delivered with well-chosen words but with such a simple rhythm that it stays with the reader long after... :) ;) Thanx for sharing, Lady Sal, and good luck in the contest! :) ;) Yvette

Thank you, Yvette. You are always so encouraging and complimentary of my work. I like poetry that has both a theme and rhythm, like a song?good lyrics set to a beat. There really isn?t much difference between the two. I am so glad you enjoyed my faith poem.

This was worded so smoothly, simple yet profound. I like your comparisons from the pie to the sail boat and how you said faith is a lighthouse for darkened eyes. And I like how you say you are a resident of faith until your dying day as you leave the reader with hope of Chris't words that He would never leave us nor forsake us. So many great takeaways from this poem!

Beautifully said and hats off to your daughter-in-law for the photo. The overall effect is lovely and calming. Faith is a BIG DEAL in my world. It has to be. I love this topic and have written of it often, even when not the required topic. We certainly are challenged to believe and it does, at times get tough to keep believing, but I opt for believing. What do we have to lose? :) Oh yes, you are probably not reading this as YOU are at the beach! See? I have faith I will get to a beach at some point this summer!
Enough said! Hope you are enjoying!

Thank you, dear Wendy. I had a little time today, sitting here sipping an ice coffee as I read my reviews. I am glad to hear (and suspected) your faith was central to your life. I am glad if my little poem spoke to you in any way.

I think I'm slowly getting here. I opened my bible for the first time in years yesterday. It's definitely a process though. Great job with this and thanks for holding the faith to show us all what we could have

Hi Sally, this is a beautiful faith poem. I can identify with setting sail at sea and sail towards the horizon. I'm not religious, but I've been a sailor most of my life, and there's nothing better than to look towards the horizon. See? Your poem set all this in motion. A hug. Ulla xx

You are so precious to find a connector to me for I love the sea. I am leaving for the shore tomorrow. I think I was inspired at the very thought of being there. Our big event is walking in the evening arm in arm, at sunset. If our kids are with us, we walk in a gigantic gang down the beach and have races. It is so wonderful.
