LOL, well that will serve the therapist right. She should've known that dragons are real and a therapist must always believe their patient if they are to be trusted.

A fine story Maria and your imagination is so intriguing :)

This is a cute story, full of fun and magical whimsy. There was many a time when I would have love the opportunity to introduce my imaginary friend to someone who treated me dismissively. Good one!

Wow! Maria, This is a very well written short story about the little girl and Wilbur the dragon. I love the way it ended and now everyone will understand what the child was saying about the dragon! Nicely done my friend. love and blessings, Teri

Haha - serve the therapist right for not believing you. It would be nice sometimes to have a few of these fantasies come true. Imaginary friends can be very real to children.

Great finish Maria, you do the unexpected endings so well in your little stories. I could see this in a book and imagined reading it to a small child, I think they'd love it. Well done,
cheers

Hey, it serves the little girl's therapist right if you ask me.
There are strange things and happenings that go on in our world that no one can explain away with mere logic.
They defy what most consider "The Norm" and baffle even the most intelligent individuals. Now not only has she sustained injuries from having seen a dragon she must also deal with the fact that she gave her patient the wrong information.
Great little story, Maria.

I wonder why the therapist did not just trot off to see another therapist and discuss the existence or not of dragons? Having a nervous breakdown over seeing a simple dragon! How very adult.
I love your story. Of course there are dragons, although some of them aren't as nice as Wilbur and they masquerade as parents, especially as shouting mothers and eye-rolling fathers.
(In the last line you have called the therapist Dr Wash, the other mention is Dr Walsh... consistency.)

Oh, poor therapist! Couldn't Wilbur just appear to the parents and then the whole idea about sending her to the therapist wouldn't be a problem. Or maybe all three could go see one together. Lol. Fun story.
