This is hilarious! And according to the picture, it is even worse than they thought. ;)) smile I really like the ending especially. Sometimes one doesn't deserve the savings or house or whatever. False teeth? Ha, ha! This was great for a chuckle. Thank you!

Thank you so much for the five beautiful stars and taking the time to read and review page you virtually nothing. As writers, I think we all want people to read our stuff but frankly, our readership drops away dramatically when our incentives numbers disappear. Oh well, so goes fan story life. LOL thanks again Drew for reading. I really do appreciate it. Thankfully that little poem is fiction. I don't have any houses and land LOL

What a shock they'll be when they see that they have inherited false teeth... LOL are they going to pull each of them out of the plastic gum's and put it under their pillow and wish for more money? This is a delightful story about false teeth, I wish you good luck in the contest :-)

I love this. This is really funny and I love what you've done with the subject matter. When you get older and it appears that your decline is coming eventually, the vultures may circle. If you have a lot financially, some family members may be waiting for you for kick the bucket. The last line sums it all up. Thanks for sharing this well written work and making me smile. Well done!

I definitely get your gist concerning your situation. I find, with all due respect, that after I got divorced 20 years ago, I was surprised to get even half after the decree. Both of my sons always had jobs, put themselves through school and make more money than I ever did. They're just grateful that I have enough money so I can take care of myself and I'm not a burden to them. Although, in all sincerity I believe they would take care of me if they had to. So, mystery writer, good luck in the contest.

I really enjoyed reading this. It's very sad to me that so many people don't spend time with their aging parents until they start thinking of potential inheritance. If it were me I wouldn't even leave them my false teeth. I'd probably donate everything to the library in their names instead. Great job on this!
