I appreciate this wedded bliss and wedding set admits June's green splendor. I however, married in the winter just before Christmas. It was that or wait even longer. Jackson was still in school so he had a two week break and we married. I think anytime is lovely as long as there is love. I imported the greenery and flowers though.
All my best,
Sal xo

This tribute to marriage could be inscribed on the bulletin for a wedding ceremony, or even read aloud as part of the ritual. It aptly illustrates the artwork you have chosen, as well.

What a lovely, lovely poem. Surely you have a winner here. Your topic is perfect. When I think of June, weddings come to mind even though all of my kids have gotten married in July. And your depiction of winter's promise is simply poetic.
You are an exquisite writer.

Glad you liked it ..... since it was your situation that spoke to my muse to focus on marriage rather than "summer for teachers"!! Yeah, I know that you told me his wedding isn't til July, but you put 'wedding' on the brain with that email and here you are! :) ;) Thanx for the review, MQ -- Blessings! :) :)

Thank you for keeping our wedding in your thoughts. I'm glad it's not June though.

June is the promise of so much and it has got to be the busiest month for weddings. One of my sons has an anniversary in June.
Aside from the happenings the weather is fantastic where I live and almost an insurance of a good day. A lovely poem depicting the promise of so much.

Really well done on this poem that celebrate springs renewal into the traditional June summer weddings. It is a popular month. I saw no errors and hope you do well in the contest.

That there is a natural harmony, melody and concordance for wedding in June manifests the fulfillment of Spring's rebirth and realization of winter's promise and that two hearts will persist; well said, well done. Write-Inspire-Change --DR ALCREATOR

A very well-written even the odds poem about the legacy of a June wedding that is the time for renewal and start of Spring where everything around is green and flowers bloom.

Perfect in form. I had to check how many syllables in realization! You were dead right, of course! LOL
I liked the way you added the feature of using the last line of one line as the first word of the next. However, I can't remember the name of that kind of poem. Even though you don't use it all the way through your poem, it does add an element of added interest.

This is a refreshing and uplifting write about two lovers making that bond and I adore June weddings. I have not seen many take place recently because of the rain which has kept me indoors. I enjoyed your unique, warm and loving presentation, love Dolly x
