Such a simple offering...Doesn't really do justice to how I feel about our marriage, but when I read the prompt, the very first date I thought of was our wedding anniversary. "Such wonderful memories," indeed...

So pleased you enjoyed. I was worried that this small offering would be considered maudlin. I don't venture into romantic poetry too often, but when I saw the prompt for a "June" poem, my first thought was our wedding anniversary!

I love to see elderly couples walking hand in hand, or helping their mate with a wheelchair, cane
not even those set back can interfere with the strong bond they share
