Hello Maria :)
I love to see flowers growing in the unlikeliest of places - they bring beauty to otherwise boring or ugly spots.
I enjoyed your story. Engaging and entertaining as always.
Best wishes, Debra :)

Some flowers grow and thrive in the most inhospitable places - not only grow but manage to flower as well. They seem to have really strong characters.

Yes, flowers draw our attention but especially the lone ones. They seems to grow where needed sometimes defying their surroundings. Sending you my nest today and hoping for flowers on your path,

I really enjoyed this short piece Maria. It is amazing what nature can create and have it survive under the strangest of situations. The impossible become possible and we get to enjoy the beauty. Well done.

Aww, that was so sweet, lol, that delightful little flower bursting through asphalt to give a bright smile to passers-by. Your lovely stories always set me up for the day, this one was a gem! Big hugs, my friend. :) Sandra xx

Some children thrive despite their environment, and in store of their circumstance, they manage to be on top, good on these beautiful kids. And likewise delicate flowers thriving under pressure, beautfully written, blessings .Maria, blesings, Roy

You have these flash fiction pieces down to a fine art :)
I like A splash of colour in the asphalt it feeds back into the loneliness and neglect.
The gentle twist is perhaps more appropriate here than a more forceful one; flowers sort of portray gentleness :)

Thanks, Alex. I do value your opinion.
BTW, I got an offer from the university. I just have to send them a translation of my degree certificate and my transcripts.

That's good news :)
