I like this beautifully written ode to a poet friend. I can tell by your spirited writing that this person was greatly loved and was a very skillful writer. We never know when death will come calling. We just have to believe and trust God and His word and live the best that we can. I enjoyed reading this well written work Jaybird. Well done!

So sorry for your loss. However your sonnet style tribute is both heartfelt and lovely. In the technical sense, it is well constructed with excellent rhyme and smooth flow. As regards content, the message is direct and clear.
