That bell is gonna toll for all of us at some point friend: )) Lets just hope we can also get to leave our own mark on the world of poetry before we go. I am of course sorry for your loss. Losing friends and family is always hard and never gets any easier.

Thank you for this moving tribute for your poet friend. As you are a wonderful poet, I can imagine you both shared much in common enjoying time sharing poetry together.

Your skillfully-written, moving poem serves as a great tribute to a fellow
poet who has gone on. Poetry is a powerful means of preserving memories, as powerful as photos.

Such a wonderful tribute to give to someone that has been admired by you. There is no doubt of that. If only he might read this accolade from someone who I am sure he admired. Since you too are of great repute. So lovely!

If he moved you...ONLY you, he was a poet and man of substance. Emily Dickinson is my favorite poet...I love her poem, which I will share here in honor of your friend who has passed on:

If I Can Stop One Heart From Breaking

If I can stop one heart from breaking,
I shall not live in vain;
If I can ease one life the aching,
Or cool one pain,
Or help one fainting robin
Unto his nest again,
I shall not live in vain.
Emily Dickinson

God Bless Him. God Bless YOU, for your work moves me every time I read it!

This is a job well done. I like the way you have penned down the poem as a tribute towards the great poet. I Iike how the last lines of the second and third stanzas rhyme. Great Job.

Sorry for your loss. Poets get no special treatment with the grim reaper. We all have to go when it's our turn. It sure stings when we lose somebody close to us.

Sincerely Joy xx

It's hard losing someone we love but I do hope you know he is always with you. He will continue to look down upon you smiling because of who you are and what you're doing.
