This seventy-five-word flash fiction story, Live Goes On, finds the sleepy older gentleman responding to the clash of nature, then realizing that 'this too will pass.'

Excellent

Life does go on, especially when sleepy from the narcotic of repetitive noise. This flash fiction is moody and creates an easily imaginable scenario. Lightning does not rock his world. I like that you got the word flash into it.

Your well written contest entry did a great job describing the scene. I could hear the rain hitting the roof and feel the jolt of the lightning. I wish you some luck with the contest test. There's some other good entries.
