A very pretty and bouncy post. You writing appears to be rolling off the keyboard keys because of the sweetness it talks about. I admire this in you. I can't seem to learn the rhythm to the more difficult poetry, but that doesn't stop me from moving in with my sometimes weak attempts. really enjoyed this post.

We must keep trying. I found that taking one of Pantygynt's classes helped quite a bit. He's offering another one soon. Thank you for your lovely comments.

Well done Yvonne! Your swap refrain is well done and the repeat reverse lines are barely noticeable. Mystical and romantic leaving us with the feeling of nostalgia. Kudos Nancy:)

Your swap quatrain is excellent in every respect. The theme of longing and nostalgia is movingly conveyed, and the rhyming and metrical patterns
are sustained throughout. You have used, strong, descriptive words.

This is magical indeed. You made me feel as if I was inside a fairy tale. As if the man you mention was a Pied Piper of Love.
Thanks so much for sharing.

I just read another form like this one and I don't remember the name of it, but you have done the last lines perfectly in reverse to the first. Love the content and the rhyming. Take me along

It's a swap quatrain. You should try one. Thanks, Barb.

An almost mesmerizing offering, Yvonne... the technique of re-ordering first line for fourth line adds to the more 'magical' effect of the piece thus maintaining that 'haze of wonder' you paint! ;) ;) A well-employed technique! ;) ;)
Thanx for sharing your talents, ma'am -- wonderful! ;) ;) Yvette

A very well-written swapped refrain poem about a place where a very special meeting was taking place many years ago, although the place change so much you will be able to find the specific spot.

I wish there really was a spot like that. Wouldn't that be wonderful? Thank you, Sandra.

A magical place and a chance meeting but I still don't know who you met here? Maybe someone who has passed away? A ghostly apparition? Your words are well metered and rhymed, love Dolly x

The 'person' was unknown. I first wrote about him in 'A Magical Meeting.' But please don't review that if you go back to read it. Thank you for this review.

This is a hauntingly, beautiful poem. The picture perfectly illustrates the mood set by your excellent writing. You're the best poet on FanStory. Perfect.

Awww, thank you, Thomas. I appreciate that. How are you doing? I haven't heard from you in a while. Keep me posted.

Lovely poem, image, and evocative feeling. The repetition is nicely done, and I would recommend this as a model poem for students to emulate. You are an accomplished, romantic poet.
