..in your heavenly hell I die... spoken like a man who is a slave to his passion. This does not make you weak. It does, however, make you (almost painfully) vulnerable. I applaud your efforts here. Sounds like you speak from experience and you do not apologize for it. Refreshing. Truly. I read this like three times. This is a good write and I thank you for sharing this. It was awesome. Lynda

I recently read in a scientific journal that more mean cheat on their significant others because of our genetics and heredity.
Men used to be the ones who hunted and foraged for food while women remained passive and took care of the children and dwelling they all lived in.
So, having said that, men are predatory in nature.
Men also seek danger more often that women. At least according to the study they do. And that would include seductive women who possess an element of danger.
A dangerous, fiery female can make you or break you.
They can't be tamed and it's asinine to even try. Best just to roll with the punches and see what happens.
Good rhyming all throughout your poem, especially for having not written poetry in a while.
Good luck to you.
~Dean

Thank you Dean. I'm glad you enjoyed it. Yet that journal you read needs to be upgraded. :) Women, since the Temperest movement have become more aggressive. More men are sexually abused by women, though many say nothing. Now-a-days women are in command, soon they will be in power. Lets hope it's for the better.

As I stated, a fiery female cannot be tamed.
Not by man, not by God and not even by the Dark Prince himself.
    You're more than welcome.

Desire! Who can control the attraction that sizzles so blatantly. It happens so suddenly at times we're taken by surprise. Yet other times it is a slow force of nature. However, you have nailed the way it works with your choice of words and very informative poem. Good Luck

Angel of Desire comes every night and dares you die and she does it after lifting and raising you on many terms and turns, maybe to continue dreaming forevermore; well said, well done. Write to inspire, change -- DR ALCREATOR

Kind of jealous of the power this woman holds, but you also make me question her authenticity. Fools rush in. Better make sure those are angel wings first, I doubt it. Nice rhyme and I like your versus and line breaks. The "obsession" is apparent with your choice of diction.

Ahh, Nicole, when writing poetry one uses the imagination. The "obsession" could come from a picture in a comic book. :) Thank you for reviewing.

I'm not sure whether to call this romantic or lascivious, but it's definitely a love poem. It burns with fire and desire, and your rhymes are very well chosen to heighten those feelings. I wish you luck in the contest.

A very well-written sweet and innocent love poem about the dream a loved one appears in and it is a desire of the dreamer to be raised up by her angel and to dream for evermore.
