The innocents of being a child, roaming free, no inhibitions, just a child enjoying a new day. A lovely thoughtful poem, enjoyed the read, thanks for sharing.
Cheers, Kev.

Hello,
I love this poem. I like the way you seemed to have wrote it from the point of view of a someone passing by and watching. The way you phrased each paragraph was well done.
Sincerely,
Unmie Dawn

This is such a poignant poem, Linda. Although you command us not to mourn, I find it hard not to. I could not finish The Shack either. I tried to give my children this Heaven on Earth. It was their right because I knew how hard life can be. All children should have this on earth, then in Heaven as well. Anything else is sad to me.
Very nice job, Linda. It is a tremendously moving poem. Well crafted.

Hi, nicely written. This has a lovely vibe to it and reads well. I enjoyed the beauty of the childhood experiences, free of the taint of this world. I also think children go to heaven and are innocents. It made me think of my childhood and the idyllic environment that surrounded me in a rural setting. Lovely images, and thanks for sharing your poem.

I read the book, The Shack. It's been quite a while since then. I heard they were doing a movie about it. Tim McGraw's in it? I haven't seen it.
They made heaven sound wonderful as I recall. This poem brought back memories.

The movie is fascinating. God is a woman who makes her own bread. Very creative. I have a different perspective of those we love passing. It is not a dark place, a place of beauty. Thanks for reading. Linda

Lovely picture of Heaven in your poem! I like how you separated out specific words by themselves so that they stood out: unencumbered, unafraid, do not mourn.
I fell like everyone would be like a child there.
One punctuation point:
"is their's eternally; " (theirs) no apostrophe

Livelylinda: I love the movie and the story behind The Shack.
It was written by the author for his family as a Christmas gift
and suddenlies. God blessed this story.
I enjoy the joy and happiness for the Heaven's children that you
share with us. We can see the rainbow tinted wildflowers, green meadows, and all you can eat. Tables and tables and tables of the
finest fresh foods. I'll see you up in Heaven some day.
Have you read all of William Young's books? Crossroads is amazing and
I still have to read Eve. God bless. flylikeaneagle

Thank you fly, for reading and such an informative review and for thinking this poem six star worthy. I have read none of the books only saw the one movie twice. Linda

Great work; this is a really beautiful piece. I love the theme, and the structure of the poem is really nice as well. I like how you have certain words stand on their own for emphasis. The photo was a nice addition as well. Thanks for posting,
