I could not love this more. It's tender and sweet and, most of all, TRUE! If more people read this poem and then followed the excellent advice, there would be SO many more happy, healthy relationships out there! Wonderful work here. Good luck in the contest. This certainly should win. xo

I have enough romance for both of us in this relationship. My husband is just starting to realize that a few thanks and help sometimes is about all the romance I am going to get, he does try (after I blow up ha ha)
It really is that simple, to just think of your special someone, really think then do something sweet, look at the joy a woman feels with a raggety bunch of free wild flowers.... just because he took a minute to think of her.ha ha Cheers, j

What a delightfully old-fashion thoughtfulness -- so would love to see more of it! ;) ;) And, of course, this could also be seen from the position of 'the other side' --- thanx for sharing and best of luck at the polls! ;)

Ahh romance, so simple really. Just to put a little extra thought in the plan. A bouquet of wild flowers takes a minute to pick, but brings such joy. I guess that it is just taking a moment from ourselves to appreciate our relationship with a simple, thoughtful, loving deed. Simple really. Thanks for the thoughtful review, cheers

What a nice poem! I loved the message you send with it. Spouses or other significant others seem to forget along the way to keep that closeness open and alive. All you have to do basically just be courteous and thoughtful here and there. Everyone likes to be acknowledged.

Thanks for the insightful review. Your last line says it all, we all just like to be acknowledged. So simple really, just give some meaningful thought to the person in your life, in new and old relationships, to make them feel special and cherished. Look what joy a free bouquet of wild flowers brings, haha. Cheers.
