A gentle entry for the flash fiction contest. Have you chosen to distance implied author's voice on purpose? Personally, I'd opt for a more immediate narrative in order to garner reader empathy. Just a thought.

I like this. So many times the flash fiction goes for some shock value, but you managed to draw me in with character driven story so limited in words. Yes, life has a funny bone. But sometimes it takes years to look back and laugh at what we once cried over. Blessings.

Nice little message here, I'm not sure how the judges view telling, but 75 words is a very short space to write in. Good luck in the contest.

Grandmas are great! Grandmas keep secrets that you need to tell. They have a great wisdom of stories of yesterday and some used tomorrow Grandmas are great for so many reasons. One which is unconditional love!
