A very well-written uplifting and encouraging poem. Heaven is a state of our mind that means we can have total peace in our minds while the world around us seem to be in chais.

Thank you for this... This was the perfect poem for me at this time My Dear Man. I had a really rough end of last week... family-wise. You reminded me that one can always forgive and find that state of Grace within one's self, even if you have to let go of certain things in your life to make it livable. Thanks again... :)

It is thoughtful, spiritual and comforting.
Beautiful flow from the vivid imagery of the first lines to the philosophical ending.
The aging process brings trials and tribulations. But it can also bring us nearer to the love of the Almighty.

Yes, we can have peace and security in the presence of God Who always is there for us. We should listen for His voice. And I believe Heaven is much more than a state of mind.
