If your body isn't healthy, your mind is. You have a good view on death. You've lived a full life with a big loving family. What a busy mother and father you must have had. Despite the rough start, with all the sickness you had to overcome, you had a lot of experiences to treasure.

In my opinion a stark reflection in smoothly fluid rhyming rhythm - a soliloquy of one's life in both acceptance and vision. I regret I have no more Six Stars. I am sorry to hear you are ill, and I hope your life continues indefinitely and comfortably, with warm and joyful activities...

A wonderful comment and look at your life. The rhyme is excellent. I would pray that you are assured of where you will be when you leave this earth. And by this I mean accepting Jesus - His forgiveness for sins (we are born with sin - selfish to the core I believe)- asking Him to be your Saviour and guide you lovingly into heaven.
None of us is assured one more day - as I near the next big b-day-I realize this more and more - my body collapses around me, but I know Jesus/God has my days numbered.
I want to read those nine more posts - and more.
Blessings and a prayer.

Pam, so good to hear from you again. I've always enjoyed all your beautiful art and poetry and now you show up a picture of a terrific little kitty cat.
So glad to hear that you are still able to take great joy from life despite your flagging health. I hope to one day write a poem using your artwork that still stays in my mind of the red shoes and the snow leopard.
Looking forward to your next post. :)

This web site has all of my art work. I think that one is called ?Startled Cub?. Click on index and the images will display alphabetically. Click on the thumbnail to see a larger image. Thank you for your interest in my art. You are welcome to use any image as long as you credit me. I hope to do at least one more mystery before I leave. People seem to like those. Thank you for this wonderful review

We have been good friends since you came onsite Pam, I'm much closer to the end than the beginning, so I relate. Before my encounter with God, I was where you are, but knowing there is something beyond is comforting but the experience of the end remains a mystery. Beautifully written my friend, in your original style, sad but looking forward to your last posts, well done, au revoir, blessings, Roy

Even if you are not looking for pity, I'm sorry to hear you are sick. I do hope you can get better.

Pam, my friend. I didn't realise that you were so ill. How brave of you to bear your soul in this poem. It is so poignant and well written and has made me take stock of my own life as I have been very blessed with good health but no-one knows what is just around the corner. I am looking forward to reading all your poems.
Blessings. Jen. X
