Lovely little story about a husband who actually does realise what his wife is missing from their relationship and does something about it. Enjoyed,
cheers,

Very nice! We all need to go back to the beginning on a regular basis and remember. So many couples do not and get in that rut and then crazy stuff does happen. I love this. You have made excellent points, but this couple needs to acknowledge soon before suspicion rears its ugly head!
Good job!

Hi MJ,

Another good little piece you've crafted here. The theme is a familiar one but the writing is crisp and on point.

Although I'd be worried about the wife keeping it a secret! What does that tell you? lol

All the best

Great job, as usual, Maria. I really enjoyed the creative way you had Josh reignite their marriage. So sweet and I wish you would write a sequel so we can see her surprise... great job.

Sometimes that is all it takes is just to be noticed to bring back the glow and memories of what you used to feel like. This is a very well done story and one that I wish could happen more often

Oh isn't this precious? Now that's a husband so in tune he and his wife will be singing two part harmony forever I hope! Liza Minnelli sang a song on one of her old TV specials...and in it was a song I have long forgotten the title of. I DO remember one line that has stayed with me for near on twenty years:

"...And every rose upon the shelf, is one that I've supplied myself--
it's not the same I'm well aware, yet still I need to see them there..."

We women are simply pleased. It's not the mansion, the fancy car...it's the "rose upon the shelf." I really loved this sweet and gentle story.

Josh is a loving, wonderful husband, wise enough to know what he could rekindle on his own. He cares for her so much that he can see past his own insecurities. I also like the fact that the letters are one-sided.

Old dogs might not learn new tricks the just remember the tricks they have done before. Josh came to realize Lisa was unhappy and he went to old tricks to correct the problem. Excellent story.

What a wonderfully insightful husband to see the problem .... and then do something so wonderful about it! :) ;) Thanx for showing us that there may just be some hope out there for 'long-time' hubbies.. :) ;) Yvette
