This is getting more and more exciting and I am looking forward to some romance down the road a bit I am sure. I know from your other projects how good you are at keeping us in suspense for so long. Definitely a trait of a very good writer. Can't remember if we picked up any errors elsewhere.

This is great. Interesting developments during their surveillance. Logan thinks to get snacks while they're watching and waiting for developments on Whitmore's visit to the gentlemen's club. Mac reveals that she is upset about being drugged and doesn't have a clue about who might have dong it. She's going to have to be very careful, in case they try something else. I'm glad you have some light-hearted moments. My husband and I watched an episode of "The Inspector Lindley Mysteries" last night, and it was unrelieved darkness. I think the mood should vary. judi

These two would make a good series for TV. They can be funny and the serious. Makes a reader stay in the saddle watching for the their next move. Good one. Barb. Oops, I almost forgot the comma. LOL.

Nice continuation here once again. The dialogue between these two is the strength in the piece and drives home the movement in this instalment. the deepening of their relationship (on whatever level) can be seen here with the comfort starting to arrive.
Nobody would ever notice a purple, Dodge Super Bee with a Hemi - I don't think you need the comma here.
There are plenty of them the on the road." - delete the first use of 'the' here.
you went straight into Army from high school." - into the Army?
Which one should we open?" - need opening speech marks here.
