My father for many many years, worked on road construction literally all over the world. From Casablanca to Africa, to Greenland, to Japan. One of his sayings I remember is, "wherever I hang my hat is home". I think wander lust is a way of life for some and that's just the way it is, and I think you have to except it. Interesting poem. Best wishes.

My family has been obsessed by travel for some years, my wife studied in Europe, so our early travels were spent caravans with our kids, traveling the vast expanses of Australia, next Europe and the U.K., Asia, Russia, Mediterranean the US. We have learnt to love the world, lessening our so called patriotism and its parochial viewpoint. Beautifully written my friend, Australians are avid travelers you'll find them everywhere, well done, blessings, Roy

Thanks so much for the excellent review and for your interesting perspective on the poem. It's a wide world out there, in the mind as well as on the planet. I don't know which is bigger. estory
