Clever writing, author. As I look in on this poker hand i have to wonder which is the discard? The King looks like the one to get rid of. what do you think? Of course that's not the point but it is fun anyway. Good luck in the contest. :) Bob

It's not poker; it's Gin! There's no discard. You put them all down and say, "Gin!" Then add, "Now let's see those knobby knees, Hubba Bubba!!!"
-
LOL I knew it was Gin but all the more reason I thought you had to discard when you say "Gin" ??? Bob

I think you discard for Gin Rummy.

Exactly. I never mentioned poker, I don't believe. Bob

Your original review said, "As I look on this poker hand."

Sorry, my mistake. LOL Bob

Hahahaha! I am still laughing - very good - a good limerick. I tried to write one of these and they are not easy. I can see that you did this with a finesse that really hits the funny bone. It doesn't hurt that come from the card capital of the world (Vegas) so I just had this poem made for me to read. Good luck with your contest! Cheers, Fonda

My friend always insisted that the "loser" in strip poker actually ended up a winner... ahem. I have to agree with that. Grin.
I love this happy fun little limerick. Good luck in the contest. You've already won a smile from me.

This was an amusing piece, unknown card shark. I'm sure you look askance at your cards as you and Bobby chortle over who has the winning hand. Good luck in the contest.

LOL! LOL! This limerick is very amusing. I guess you'd call it playing 5 card stud with a stud, or its more familiar name of strip poker. Good artwork choice for theme.

This is more like Gin Stud. But, hey, whatever it's called, all I know is it's very fun!
Like you review; that was fun, too. Thanks.

Hah! Had a hearty chuckle over this limerick! My hubby and I play Gin quite often...if I suggested this twist I am worried he'd have a coronary!--Karenina

Hee, Hee, sounds like you are more interested in Bobby's knees than the spread of cards on the table. I liked your fun limerick and have no idea how to play cards. Wish you well in the writing prompt.
