spell check and bad proofreading made it originally the "beaver's tale" (sic). After seeing it upon release I edited my saga to 'tail'. LOL

This is a metaphor for life... we can be peacefully minding our own business, lost in a reverie in the still of the night, then some bugger of a beaver comes along to slap its tail on our thoughts.
(It's nice to know there are still beavers in the pond though... let Nature have a 'win'.)

Thanks Lisa for your take on my verse. It never occurred to me about the metaphor you suggested. Good for you to 'dive' into the waters with me. I'm all for nature winning in the battle with climate control.'
