Yes we will answer the question! This is a lovely entry into the contest, asking a very serious question. Poetry matters just as much as any art if you ask me! If not more for scrolls and history writ. Good luck in the contest!

I believe that bad poetry does not matter, and good poetry matters a
great deal, and all the shades of gray are on a bell curve...looks like an excellent nonet to me.

This is true. Poets will almost always answer "Yes" to this question. But only from reading it can you say that particular poetry matters. Though if it didn't we wouldn't have so many beloved poets for posterity.
