This poem, Shades and Berets, presented in iambic tetrameter in an AABB quatrain, throws us back to the late fifties, early sixties when 'Dig We Must'.

A very well-written poem about the picture. An excellent interpretation and a fresh look on the scene where the plucking of the bass is as weird as the plucked.

This is very cute, and a perfect fit for a "Beatnik" prompt. The poem is simple and direct, flows smoothly and rhymes well, and you couldn't have found a better picture as accompaniment.
