Hello Trisha,
You've written an excellent Mirrored Refrain poem with its interesting
rhyme scheme and repeat lines.
Opinions are subjective, almost by definition.
It is those who go outside the lines that encounter the most negativity;
like Van Gogh, the Impressionists, Dickinson, and a long line
of great "talented" artists and writers.
Band wagons are usually crowded, soloists walk alone.
Well done

Loved this one as well !! I loved your ideal of talent and how everyone may interpret it differently.
What one sees as talent may not be talent to another. Another angle on perception!! Cool way to do it!!

I think when we first meet someone or read others? penning, we base it on preconceived perception . We ??judge a book by its cover,?. In fact I think perception is at the basis of many relationships.

Art is as you say so subjective, much the same as poetry, what is tuneful to one ear, is not to another. I sold a painting once after everyone said they hated it! A joy to read, love Dolly x

Talent is subjective . America?s got Talent is a mix of talent and bizarre, sometimes sick, acts. Thank you for your review.

This speaks about the explanation and meanings of the word 'talented' and you have expressed how to decide it with other aspects relate to talent and expression; well said, well done. Write legible, to inspire, readable for years -- DR ALCREATOR

How cool! :) Really enjoyed the way you've used this form with respect to comparisons/agreeing since things can be seen through so many different lenses.... the 'switching of the same' is like an illustration within your write! :) ;) Thanx for sharing! ;) Yvette

A very well-written poem about artistic works that we all see differently when we look at it. Every angle of the artwork also have qualities we cannot see from another angle.
