I appreciate your 2/4/2 offering! Moonless evenings definitely give the feeling of being "unearthly." Where I live, high on a bluff in the woods of northern Michigan, those nights are rare but chilling, nonetheless.

The shadows of night-time are haunting. They have an unearthly and eerie feel about them, particularly in the dankness of a winter wood. The moon generate a range of emotions in people.
