It was a fun contest, wasn't it? Now I have a few points to work with!
Thanks again! Katharine

"run like..." is much quicker to say than the fancy new word "Absquatulate" so I am not likely to be adopting it any time soon! I loved the graphic too.

I love this one Author! This is a very funny entry for the contest... it's the first I've read, but it's a very funny entry! I love the use of rhymes here with 'pate'... I do love that word! LOL

So, run faster than it would take you to say this word. It definitely does not sound like its definition. Fun find. I hope it brings you to victory in the contest! xo

This was a good read. Funny, well done, and a vocabulary lesson. I enjoyed it very much. Good job of writing and good luck in the contest, unknown writer.

Rightly, in this plot, the obscure word absquatulate is shown used to express the word meaning nicely; well said, well done. Write to inspire, readable for years -- DR ALCREATOR

-Good artwork for
your poem.
-The syllable count is
good, and you have
chose a good, obscure word, too.
-Effective use of rhyme and imagery.
-I think you have the right
idea in the poem at the end-
"Absquatulate!"
-I think you mean plate in line one?
-Good luck in the contest.

I like it! Thank you I must have read the dictionary in absquatulation as I completely missed this vocabulary word and it is rare, but it does happen when someone teaches me a new word. I have not used this nor have I heard it used. So kudos to the author in this contest!!!! Good luck and I will be voting if I get a vote! Cheers, Fonda
