I like the sad imagery of this poem, redolent of nostalgia and feeling. Thus worthy of a high mark. It reminds me of an old 1930s song... "Love letters in the sand"

Very sweet while being sad. I can feel the lonely person walking alone on the beach and missing their loved one. Whether the loved one is gone because the relationship broke, or because they passed away, it's still a lonely thing to miss a loved one. Your words painted this picture for me and I like it when words paint pictures and make me feel feelings. Beautiful picture, too. Good job!

Great work on this poem. You managed to create a story with only a few words. It makes the reader wonder what has happened, and where the subject might be headed on that lonely beach.
