If she is there, then, when you leave home and come back again, she'll be right where you left her. A mother's love came from God and she just loves like no other as you've expressed so eloquently. I love the message of this well written ode to mother. Great job and well done!

I had a job change where I?ve been writing curriculum and teaching teachers. It was fun enough, but I?ve decided to retire!
Thanks for your thoughts and comments on the poem. It?s funny how I did focus on the child...teens are a bit egocentric, lol. I just thought it odd that in the midst of all the things my mother had stashed, and there was much, I found that poem nestled away!
