I know you believe strongly in God/Jesus....just know
He was protecting you...and wait down the road...the reason why will come to life my sweet friend...and it's just not you...it is how it is with most relationships today...of all ages...old is just another reason to get out of a relationship...if you are truly cared about/loved...age has nothing to do with it...and those two people better wake up and smell the coffee...70 for them is just a hand shake away...you want to see them come running back...tell them you won the lottery...age would go right out the window...love is from the heart...your still young you...I love your poem...you should have contested this one...and how did you get this picture of me...LOL...very well written...and sooooooo good to see you...bunches of love...Uno xxoo

oh my this does ring true. It comes so fast upon us - this discrimination cuz we have lived our years. However, in our church for example, the older persons are given honor and I appreciate that. However, as you said, "we take one more step"

You captured my attention from the first line to the last it's sad that those guy turn you down because of you are.. They should stop and think that age for them is just around the corner and who know how many ladies turn them down because of their age. I like to give them a piece of my mind maybe should try a different area or dating agency on line
don't give up, God not ready for you yet so go shake a leg
I'm eighty year young and doing my thing.
. I started a poem about this very thing
It is called - You got to be kidding
I don't know when It will be finished, This week I go to the doctor and trying to pack some boxes to donate clothes etc.
You know when your away from the computer it build up like crazy

I like the list of oxymorons in stanza 1.
Consider putting "to white" on one line and "not from fright" on one line. Just a thought.
