Everybody has some agenda going...after fiddling with various cheeses I am back to Velveeta...like the first page of reviewers, I didn't see a thing I felt you should change...onward....

Hi Tony, Charles is being played isn't he? It's a great chapter, and I'm still not the wiser where this is all going. But that's exactly how it should be. A good writer will keep you in the dark until the end. All best. Ulla:))

I enjoyed every single aspect of the item. The Author has paid particular attention to the language used and the words were chosen. Every single grammar issue has been resolved and there are no spelling mistakes. I would highly recommend this item to a friend.

I like the delicate balance you create between the chapters of suspense and the entertaining ones leading up, tfawcus.

I can hardly wait for the action to start again... Looking forward.

Hi, Tony. Great follow-up to the last chapter, my friend. I like the way you described opening a ottle of champagne here:

"I took a napkin from the table and wrapped it around the neck of the bottle before removing the metal cage. Holding the cork firmly in place with my left hand, I twisted the bottle until the first signs of movement, then eased it out, releasing the pressure with a gentle fizz before pouring a little of the foaming liquid into each glass. After the first bubbles had subsided, I topped them up, two thirds full."

Have a great Sunday, my friend. Bob

A very well-written chapter, it seems there are no secrets that can be kept a secret, before it is told the others know already what the secrets are.

Hi Tony,

Very nice descriptive quotient in this instalment. The touches with the landlady are nice and interject some humour into the piece.

Helen seems pretty well-informed it seems...

All the best
G

How did she know? And if she did, why was she so puzzled about where he'd been? Hmmmm. I don't trust any of these people anymore. I hope Charles doesn't, either.

Very many thanks for your continued encouragement, Yvonne I imagine that Kayla must have rung her and let her know. Perhaps the two sisters are in cahoots. Poor man - double trouble. All the best, Tony

Of course he was going to tell her! LOL. I loved the, I C U 4 U, lol, that was classic! This was excellent, Tony, Charles is all set for a romantic evening with Helen now, which has surprised him. He thought he'd have to butter her up a bit. Or, is she teasing him, wearing his shirt, and hasn't really forgiven him yet? The wine and cheese will do the trick, I'm sure, and she has laid the table nicely! The story is coming along beautifully, my friend. Very well done. :) Sandra xx

Charles seems to be getting involved as one of the points owhat might turn out to be a somewhat akward triangle.

I like the wayt you are able to give life to youtr minor characters. Madame Bisset is always brilliantly introduced. She never gives up does she.

This was a thoroughly enjoyable chapter.

Very many thanks for your continued encouragement, Jim. Charles looks as if he might be getting into a bit of a tangle with these two sisters. Poor man. All the best, Tony
