What has happened to Badger? He was going to check the top of the car. Someone fell off the car. I hope he didn't get hit with a bullet and fall off the train. Perhaps he went to the rear of the train where he could see better in the darkness.
Morgan and Cory are aware there is trouble. If they get a chance to escape they will do it. They have a key to the shackles. Well done Larry. An exciting chapter

Hi Nancy, thank you for your review. Your response to Badger, is just what I was hoping for, from readers. But you and I know that Badger is a tough ole character, and he still has more to contribute to this story. But there will still be an escape, and Bo Meadows still has to meet Badger head-on. That is when Badger's fate will be determined, because only one of them can survive. So far I have come up with three different possible endings. At the moment, I don't even know how this book will end.

I'm all for saving Badger. Kill off the bad man. LOL Ending's are the hard part for me.

I like this chapter in your western story about a train trying to out run some riders trying to break some convicts free. The pace of the story is excellent and it is believable. Thanks for sharing this. Have a great day!

Hi Bill, thank you for your review. I have done some research on this event. The Washington Territorial Prison does set outside of the city of Walla Walla. Today it is the Washington State Penitentiary. The first convicts to arrive, did arrive by train from the Seatco Prison, and there was an escape during the transport. Since this is a fictional story, I have taken some artistic privilege. There is a lot more to come, so I hope you will return, to find out how this story ends. Mr. Green
