Such lovely sentiments, Ronni, and so beautifully expressed. I enjoyed reading this poem with its great metaphors and elegant language but what I liked best was the theme, of course. To make a happy home is synonymous with having a happy heart, I think. Well done. Thanks for the treat this evening.

This is so beautiful, Ronni. I suspect this is the real you and how you run your life. This is very much how I run mine, as well, and appreciate seeing this in poetry form. My home is often complimented, not because of its finery, but the peace that resides within. People have often stated that they feel God here. I play music all day long and my children and grandchildren have keys to my home, welcome to come and go as they please. I always have something good cooking and generous with hugs and kisses. Pink is my favorite color--so you're reeled me in on this one, too. I enjoyed this very much. All my best to you.
