A very rich poem that is so easy to read with the structure and rhyme scheme. Love your use of words and metaphors. Just a pleasant read. Best of luck in your contest. Bill

hi, your work is excellent, well -laid out and rich vocabulary. I liked most the presentation which second to none. Wish that you had added another stanza. Nature has much to write about. The image is attractive. Keep it up. I recommend your work to others.

I truly appreciate your high praise of my sonnet and that you recommend my work to others. Indeed Nature has much to write about, but once I chose the Curtal Sonnet format I was restricted from adding any more verses or stanzas.

I've never heard of a Curtal Sonnet before and you delighted me with your words here. Not sure this line is in iambic pentameter, "Tilting trumpets of the daffodils"
Maybe if you say "the tilting trumpeted daffodils" will fix the meter, love Dolly x

Hi Dolly. Curtal sonnets are not well-known, and I am delighted you enjoyed this one. I also appreciate you catching that flaw. I forgot to type in ?And? to begin that line. I have since fixed it thanks to you.
