This Whitney, Gardening, has the proper format and lets the world know you area grower and nurturer. I know the beets and green beans will be okay, but every living creature will be after the salad leaves (whatever that is other than lettuce).

Well Debra, I new you had veggies in the garden but I din't know we had our very own Charlie Dimmock on fanstory! Now that you have sown the seeds I hope that they take root and grants your garden a delightful boon... maybe you'll be able to start your own shop and be a greengrocer as well as a teacher, parent, gardener and poet! Your writing talent shows through again here, bloomin' good I say :)

I have moved from my house and all of my gardening to an apartment. I really miss my flowers and veggies. I did ask if I could have a garden box here and am hoping they will let me. Nice Whitney, my friend~Debbie

Hi Debbie :) I will keep my fingers crossed that you are allowed a garden box... To plant something and watch it grow is one of the best feelings there is! Thank you for your lovely feedback. Best wishes, Debra :)

Wow, you've got a big garden. This was a good one that let's the reader into your real passion it seems. I bet time flies when you're working in the garden. Good job.

Thanks Chas :) I appreciate your feedback as always... I never really 'got' gardening until a couple of years ago. Last year was the first year I really developed a love for it - I grew all sorts and had to make chutneys and preserves with the abundance of tomatoes. We even had a dabble at making elderberry wine (it was a fun process but it tasted awful!) I'm going to plant some pumpkins tonight in the hope that the kids will have some great ones to choose from come Halloween!
Best wishes, Debra :)

WOW!! This is PROLIFIC!!! You are an ambitious soul, indeed!! I am very impressed! And I hope we'll get updated photos as the spring and summer progresses.
Wonderful poem, too, Debra, in perfect keeping with all the others from the month. I'm bummed that tomorrow is the last one. : (

Hi Rachelle :)
Thanks for your great feedback.
I love spending time in the garden. I only really developed a passion for it last year and I spent most of the summer digging and planting and harvesting! So satisfying and relaxing too! Sure I'll post updates...you'll be sorry you asked LOL!
Bye for now, Debra :) x

Nope; I'll love seeing the blossoming!!

Picking vegetables from your own garden is just the most satisfying thing. I don't have a vegie garden at the moment or any sort of garden as the kangaroos eat everything. And in fairness, we're away a lot too.

Hi Judy :) Thanks for your lovely feedback! No kangaroos eating the veg around here, just the pigeons and slugs! I WILL use nets, eggshells, beer and salt as preventers this year. Best wishes, Debra :)

Can you come over? Haha. I only wish I was good about my yard. The older I get the less I devote to the yard-I'm pooped just working all day. Nice little poem here to try and get us all outside even if only vicariously-LOL.

LOL! I'm a late starter on the gardening scene, but I love it! Nothing nicer than sowing, picking and eating your own veggies :)
Thanks for the great feedback. Best wishes as always, Debra

It's great to have hobbies. I love being in the garden, but I don't do any gardening. If you remember, my garden looks like a forest so it doesn't need much work.
As usual, I love your poem and your rhymes. You are a natural.
Thanks for sharing.

Hi Maria :)
I'd love to have a foresty bit in our garden. It's very structured with the fences (to keep the guinea pigs on one side and Molly on the other!) but it is nice to have a big section for growing...
Thank you for the lovely feedback. Sending best wishes, as always, Debra :) x

You have a nice yard, Debra. Nice and neat. I do like fenced yards, as is mine also. Pretty soon I have to get outside to get things going. It's been too cold here and it's almost May. I enjoyed your Whitney. Marilyn

Hi Marilyn :) Thank you for your great feedback. The fencing (apart from the boundary fencing) is a new addition to the garden. It's mainly to keep Molly separate from the guineapigs! It does keep the garden tidy and ordered though too ;)
Best wishes, Debra x
