Ooops--I almost missed this post! I could see and hear the spring scene and enjoyed your alliteration of "s's" and artwork selection to intensify the experience. Big smiles and more kudos for your dedication to NaPoWriMo- Joan

This poem, Spring Landscape By the Sea, depicts this chosen picture and is supported by some creative choices in alliteration. Neat.

Beautiful imagery! The opening line is really wonderful in setting it up and breathing happiness into the reader. I'm ready for another day like this. Thank you for this poem!!

Your ultra-concise poem is lovely, making excellent use of specific
details to create a scenario that makes the reader want to go there.
Note: should be "couple of boats."

A very well-written poem about the picture and what we see with our eyes said in words to create an imaginary scene in the mind as well. A great form of poetry.

This was such a pleasant read, sunnilicious. You painted quite the serene scene. I felt relaxed just reading it. So I did it a couple of times. It takes the reader away to a happy place. Good job.

Tide rises to meet the setting sun, the landscape at the sea beach, spring memories go sweeter at the moment; well said, well done. Thank you for sharing. Keep Writing Inspire Changing -- DR ALCREATOR

A very nicely described landscape portraiture (pictoral) poem, Alicia. I must try one of these as I like the concept of descriptive scenes as the theme for a poem. Well done. (I hope you have a sunshine day, too.) Marilyn

Most of us are not usually blessed with having palm trees swaying overhead, (coconuts can kill, heh heh) but you paint an idyllic picture Alicia, the artwork backs it up. I have an Indonesian son in law who moved here with my daughter and we have two delightful grandchildren from them. It's a lovely tropical place, hot all year round. Beautifully written with wonderful languid imagery, well done, wahoo, today's the last day, well dine, blessings, Roy

Hi Roy! You have such a beautiful family. Take plenty pictures when you visit those in-laws in Indonesia. You'll have a wild time. I'm shocked you don't have coconut trees in Australia on the beaches. They're in Florida everywhere. Also, palm trees are all over Southern California. Thank you :)

Oh no, we have plenty in the tropics Alicia, there are some in the south, in Sydney and even here, there just not native, blessings
