I've come to be a fan of your short, succinct lines. I often reade them a second time to see if I missed anything.
Great poetic devices throughout.
Well done.
Blessings

When reading poetry, it flows beautifully as I read through it and the punctuation (or purposeful lack of) keeps me at the rhythm that I know the author intended for me. I also pay particular attention to the presentation of it. Since there are usually fewer letters and words than a story or article, I place great importance on the spacing, placement and actual choice of letters and words. Presentation is everything to me with a 5.0.

Hello Victortouche,
What I appreciate about your poetic offering is that it is open to interpretation regarding its message. I also appreciate the paucity of words, yet it flows very well. I read it twice...and once aloud... Very creative and interesting!
Thank you!

I like this cryptic and abstract poem. It leaves the reader open to their own interpretation. The imagery is that of acrobatic love sort of reminds me of different birds mating rituals in order to attract the female. Some are very theatrical and practiced. enjoyed the read.

Mating rituals for all species tend to be theatrical. LOL I am not kidding. Mammalian behavior alone. . .my, my, my.

A pause a pose I just suppose this is meant for the artists ear. To stand still for long periods of time must be difficult. Unraveling love can take time. Liked it.

I like it. Very much. I like the short lines that make the poem flow quickly.
I also like the uncomplicated language, even if the meaning is more difficult to get.
Thanks for sharing.

And thank you for reading.

It seems the pose is to lure the suitor in so he can try to catch her. It seems longing and lust is part of this too. The first two stanzas sound almost like meditation. Trying to plan the attack.

A learned stillness, Willful non-repose! You have so many beautiful poetic turns of phrase in this double-entendre-dripping work! A beauty to wake! Excellent work!

This was a good read, Victortouche. I loved the relaxed phrasing in this one and the pleasant imagery in this piece. I thought the ending was perfectly done. Nice job.

Hi Victor, Sometimes one must chisel away the facade on the surface and clear away the rubble to find the beauty that lies beneath. I like it. Very well said. :)
