This is a quaint write Yvette and I loved delving into your imagination here and finding these falling moonbeams that guide us at night so that we don't get lost, an ambient write, love Dolly x

A beautiful tribute to the moonlight, and so fitting coming from a rocket scientist! ;) My daughter loves to go star gazing. I'm looking forward to summer when the telescope will be hauled out again. Your syllable count is spot on and your words carefully chosen for a romantic, childlike effect. Well done and best wishes in the contest!

This is a sweet poem. I like the idea of moonbeams leaving a trail so they don't get lost. I've nothing to suggest and good luck in the contest. Do you know - one of these days I might even try a 5-7-5 myself! lol

Cute idea on this entry Yvette.

I would like to follow the stardust trail. Without Waze, I do get lost or confused. Your method seems workable. Good illustration too!

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful! You capture our imaginations as you personify the moon who had wandered down to earth.I hope the wandering moonbeam finds his way home! The bkack and white is effective, but I can't help but imagine the colorful beam and sparkling stardust! Awesome contest entry!
Blessings, my friend!

I love your title and your poem. Once again you did a great job with so few words. Also, the picture you chose matches your poem so well. It's a beautiful thought.
You are a wonderful poet.

how lovely! like silk rippling through fingers-
magical.
Should be in a book of poems for children. (or us grown-ups) :)
We could use some silky ripples - as opposed to wrinkles.
Really pretty poem and perfect accompanying picture.
good job.
